| While everyone is outside on this beautiful, 78 degree, hot, sunny day planting potatoes. I get to sit inside and post a quick post for you all. I can't figure out which I would rather be doing, cause I enjoy them both. I do like to be outside though when it is such a pretty day!! :) They have lots to plant, so I am sure that there will still be some left for me to plant! :) In the mean time, here is a quick post of our butchering last week. Someone gave us some roosters. We kept some of them cause our last roosters found their way to the freezer. They had a terrible time at getting along! Anyway, Mom put the boys to work and with some help from Jenny they got them all butchered. |

| This is the first time that they did this pretty much all by themselves and it was a good experience for them! |

| Dad recently got another Jersey cause Milly was going down in milk and we didn't want to have to get her bred back. |

| It was a very sad thing to think to have to put Millie in the freezer, but sometimes its just what you got to do. She was a very good cow and gave us lots of the best milk for over around 2 years. But it was time to say good bye.... :(( |
