| This year we got lots of peaches off of our tree. They are so sweet and juicy!! |

| The big green beetles had taken over the ones that were overly ripe. Bumped the wrong one and dozens of beetles came swarming down over us, sent us all screaming in all directions. |

| We canned 64 quarts, froze some and made the rest into jelly. |

| The raspberries are in full bloom and we have been picking up to 5 or 6 quart every other day. It is a time consuming job, but in the end it is so worth it!! |

| We have also been getting lots of fresh veggies from the garden and green house. Jubilee loves the carrots. |

| We planted cabbages this year in our garden and they turned out really nice. We had more cabbage then what we hardly knew what to do with. Lets just say we have been eating a lot of it lately! :) |

ReplyDeleteYour kraut looks delish!!! How do you make it & what is in the top of the jars? Our peaches here in Pa. are just coming in. Next week the free stone ones should be ready. Always enjoy reading your blog. C. Wagner
ReplyDeleteHi, We just shred up the cabbage and add salt to it. You need to weight it down with something, so we used a glass filled with water. Glad you enjoy the blog! :)
