Thanksgiving 2014

Trusting everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving?
We all stuffed ourselves to the brim with amazingly good food!!
Jaylon, Hannah and Kyle, Micah and Jenny and the boys and Uncle Sheldon & Aunt Sharon and their family, all spent the day with us!
We had an amazing variety of food! I don't have it all pictured. We had everything from homemade rolls to pumpkin pie.
And not to be boasting here, but our turkey had to be the best this year. Mom got the idea from Keeper Of The Homestead Blog. Click on the link to read about it. It was the tastiest turkey we have had in years, not to mention soft and juicy!
Yummy desserts.

Everyone loves little Kyle!
Reading books...

Aunt Sharon brought all the supplies along for making duck tape wallets for witnessing cards.

They were so cute that some of us older ones ended up making one also.

What a handy way to carry your cards around!
Then for the skeet shooting!
Last time we shot skeet in our front yard, our neighbor (who is always causing us problems) turned us in. Sooner or later out came a cop to investigate. Well, to make a long story short, the cop was on our side and we have been able to do it here at the house ever since. Saves us the drive up to the hills.
The boys made sure we didn't run out too quickly this year.

Our awesome skeet throwers!

And that's all folks!!

We have so much to be thankful for this year!! What about you?
