Meat, Meat, And More Meat!

Hunting and butchering time!

Joshua went hunting for the first time this year. He got the largest buck out of all the guys and was pretty proud. He is having some friends of our mount the head for him.

He also got a nice size cow elk.

A quick shout out to Joshua turning 15 this week! Happy Birthday, Bro. You are growing into such a handsome young man!!

This is Justin's first buck as well!

Micah had shot a buck close to the size of Joshua's, but couldn't find it after a long search, and had to be content with the next one he got.

Last year they all went out to get a buck, but didn't see any. We were happy that they all came home with one this time!

Our freezers are so full that we got to enjoy making bologna. 

Mom and Dad grew up having it, and all of us children love it!

Our freezer just got a little fuller! 

We also butchered one of Jenny and Micah's pigs.
