Managing Without The Boys

Joshua and Jared left with some friends on the 26th of July,  and drove to attend Still Waters Camp in Indiana. Their camp started on the 1st of August. The Camp website
( www.stillwaterscamp.org ) posts live updates during camp, so you can only imagine how many times that page got refreshed every day for 5 days! :)

Well with them gone.... yes, the work load got a little heavier! You don't realize how much of a help they are, until they leave. Joylin and I had to pitch in and help with the chores.
Jesse was feeling a bit left out, with Joshua and Jared both gone.
So Jaylon and Justin took him on a 2 day fishing trip.
Joylin and I couldn't get the lawn mower up and running, so before leaving they had a look at it.
One pro at waking early is you get to see the sunrise!
I wish this picture would have shown more of how it really looked.
We have been getting a nice share of rain, and the cows are thoroughly enjoying the green field.
The van brakes needed some work and the part didn't come in for a few days...
...so Joylin and I had to do a milk drop in the truck the next morning.  And to add to it all, it was a rainy day.
But it was nothing a little coffee, some music, and just sister time, couldn't fix! :D
A little glimpse of how green it does get here in Arizona when we get rain. :)
Jesse did very well at picking up where the boys left off.

My Job was to gather eggs and take care of the chickens.
Taking the eggs in to get washed, and boxed, ready for customers.
The chickens are loving the new feeders Dad made them.

Happy 29th Anniversary, Daddy and Mommy.
Thank You for being such great examples to us children, we love you both!
A sunny evening after the rain.
Last night after more rain, the sky looked amazing with this huge rainbow!
A little later it was a double.

After camp the boys went and spent time with friends in Tennessee. Much to their delight they got to go fishing.  Jared with his 10lb Cat Fish! Nice catch Jared!

We heard from them this morning, and they are on their way home! We are anxiously awaiting their arrival!
