Hagerstown Maryland #3

Uncle Eugene and Daddy drove Jaylon, Micah and Jenny into the Baltimore Airport early Saturday morning. They had to get back for work an all, so as the story goes "our army decreased a little in size" for the rest of the people that had us over for supper! :) Almost every evening we had somewhere to go. Whether it was a family gathering or just a friends house.. we kept pretty busy running here and there! :)

We went with Uncle Eugene, Aunt Laura and the cousins up to the Blue Ridge mountains and hiked up the Appalachian Trail to High Rock. A place up on top of the mountain, with an awesome view!
Jesse enjoying his hike!
Unlike out here, the trail was shady the whole way, which was nice, but the forest was really dense making it very humid and hot. Moss was growing everywhere!

Dear Mommy! :)

Have know clue what this is, other then it looks like some kind of Fungi growing on a stick! :)

This is cool... a acorn sprouting into a tree. Even though it almost looks like it is dying. :/

Us all taking a break after we climbed a steep hill!

  1. How long of a hike did you have to reach the top of High Rock? Looks like a lot of fun!
