Jessica's Bridal Shower

I am finally getting Jessica's bridal shower posted. I know, it was like a week ago and I can just see you all running to the computer every day hoping for pictures.. :/ Any way, I won't keep you waiting! :)

First of all I will start out with the cakes I made for the shower. I went all out and made three, round, double layered cakes. I took the easy route and made them all out of cake mixes

Took me nearly all day to put them all together.

I was through with frosting and never wanted to eat another bite of it by the time I was done. 

I frosted them with all of Jessica's wedding colors, pink, brown and green. The pink one was vanilla frosting, the brown chocolate and the green one mint. Would we eat that much cake? Only time can tell.

I decorated them with cherry blossoms, which made it very easy and fast!

The house filled up with friends and the games began.

Playing the game of who has the most items in their purse that is listed on the paper.

Jenny helped me out with a lot of the games, so Joanna got to be baby sitter! :)

We asked her questions about Chris and the ones she got wrong she had to chew a piece of gum.

Playing the tray game: Jessica walked around the room with a tray of items. Once she left the room we then asked questions about what she was wearing. The tray totally distracted them.

Name the herb. Jessica grew and dried all these herbs herself, so it made it kinda special.

Once all the games were over it was time to cut the cake and get out the icecream.

As I watched the cake slices disappear I was glad that I had made all three of them! Only a small amount was left over.

Opening gifts...

She got a lot of nice gifts, like scarves to keep her warm in cold Canada. :)

The day turned out to be a really enjoyable one! Jessica would like to thank you all for everything that you gave her.

Today we went into Tucson to pick up more things for the wedding. Everything is coming together and we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

To the Sangers, We picked up Kaitlin on the way into town and had a fun day of shopping with her. Can't wait to see you all at the wedding! :)
