Fishing...

The boys have been spending time fishing at a fish pond up north of here. It is a good size pond and they have caught quite a few big fish in it so far. Last week Dad took all the boys up there to go fishing and they had so much fun they ended up staying a couple of days. The house was a bit lonely around here, it was empty and quiet with only Mom, Joanna and I at home. It was fun having just Mom and us girls here and we got to do some special things that we normally don't get to do. :)
Dad took a bunch of pictures on his phone, so enjoy! :)
The scenery is really beautiful!

When you don't have your own boat, you have to rig something up that works kinda like one! :) lol
That would've just freaked me out being out there, just knowing that there are big cat fish below!!
Don't you love their professional rod props?
If you are wondering? Yes, that is my brother-n-law! lol  :)
A bass Justin caught...
Great catch, Jared! :))
Now Justin, I thought you were fishing for fish, not snakes! lol That is a really big bull snake!

Joshua caught the biggest cat fish!
Micah grilled them on the grill and it was a real feast! :)

If you are wondering what we have been up to other then just fishing, it's dogs. This week we had 14 dogs and 1 cat as boarders. That in its self keeps us really busy. Not to mention how noisy it gets around here sometimes when they all  started barking. We are back to our daily walks around the block. :)
I would love to hear what you have all been up to. You are like my behind scene followers.. You guys see what we have been up too, but I never know what you guys are up too. :) Well, what ever it is, hope you are all doing well and I am glad that you enjoy reading my blog. I would love to get to see you all again some day! :)
Well, it is getting late and I need to end this.
Have a great weekend! Joylin

  4. *shivers* Snakes are creepy.

Seemed like a nice catch from the pictures and it was nice to "meet" more of your family.
