::with summer sneaking in::

With the temperature up in the hundreds during the day, we wait till the evening to come out of our cool house to get things done. Jenny and Micah are building a temporary home out where their fifth wheel used to be. They live with us during the day, for meals, etc.. so the extra room of a kitchen, living room etc, wasn't needed. Besides the fifth wheel was terribly hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. They made it just big enough for a bedroom and bathroom. Micah and Jenny went and got all the lumber up on the Indian reservation while we were in Texas. He has been working on it almost everyday now and it is really going up fast.
"See, I can help too!!" :)
Jubilee loves to be outside!!
She is 8 1/2 months and is attempting her first steps.

Something got into Jenny's chickens and killed her first batch of chicks (all but one) and then killed her only rooster. We think it was a bobcat, but no one knows for sure. She was working at making her flock bigger, so she had a few chicks that just hatched, and more eggs in the incubator. Now she will have to wait till a rooster gets older to be able to hatch more. :(

Tweetie Pie! :)
The boys couldn't wait till we got our big pool up, so out came the horse trough.
It is better then nothing!!
Micah David and Jubilee watching a nature movie.. Love the expressions!! :)
They finally found the time to sit up the big pool.

The water is going to feel so good in the heat!! What we need is rain...

My camera is acting up and the flash isn't working. Don't know what I will do. Hopefully I can figure it out soon! :)
Hope you are all staying cooL!!
Have a great week!
