First of all I apologize for the quality of these pictures. They were taken on the ipad so are just a bit fuzzy. We had a storm come up from the north that brought a huge wall of dust along with it.
As we watched it get closer we scrambled to get everything that could possibly blow away either inside or fastened down.
It hit with a blast and within a couple of minutes it was midnight black. The dust was so thick that to go out on the porch you could hardly breathe as the dust filled your mouth and nose as well as your eyes. Then we hear this awful noise and realize our little garden shed was bouncing across the field. Although we couldn't see it it sounded really bad. After the dust we finally got the rain!
This is what we found the next morning. :(
Hundreds of these millipedes appear after a rain.
Trimming the hedge.
Everything seems to grow by leaps and bounds when it rains. Keeps a couple of boys pretty busy.
Micah David loves it when there is fruit or berries growing within his reach. It's like an outdoor buffet that he takes advantage of whenever he's out playing.
Our little "house" is coming along pretty fast. We put insulation in last evening... not a fun job!
Boxes of plums we are waiting on to ripen all the way. We have canned some plum jam and sauce from some of them already.
Little miss Jubilee is barely 9 months old and walking like a pro. She's so proud of herself. She seems too little to be walking around!
Having a snack of applesauce.
The little grin we all adore. :)
And the niece and granddaughter we would all like to squeeze!! Justin and Joylin have been in Canada for the past week with Chris & Jessica. They report that she is as sweet as she looks. :) Justin is flying home today but Joylin will be staying for another week.
God bless each one of you! -Jenny
