I was hoping to keep you all posted a bit more often on our progress with the dairy, but we've been so busy that finding time to sit down and get it done is a different story. We were hoping to be finished by the beginning of the new year, but with a few hold ups our finish date is moved down to February. We are getting excited as the day draws closer! :) Here are just a few pictures of what we have been up to.
We got the electrical in... |
Next was that itchy job... insulation! |
Ready to start on the ceiling of the milk house. |
Siding up next... |
All up and ready to start spackling... |

Spackling the ceiling... |
Putting up the siding in the storage room. |
Got the cool box installed. |
Spackling the walls of the milk house. |
Spackling can be bit time consuming so we all jumped in to help get it done. |
Almost completed. |
Next comes sanding! |
Joshua plaining... |
Ready for painting. |
Painting the first coat. The guys had pretty sore necks after they finished this job! |
Second and third coat... |
Time for the walls to get their first coat. |
The guys putting on the next coat while us girls went around the edges, painted door wells, etc... |
Almost finished the second coat. Its been raining pretty good the past few days, so painting has been on hold. We have one more coat to put on in this room before we can start on the floor. |
We were able to get the first coat on the inside of the cool box. |
Thanks for helping Micah! :) |
