Jasper Camp 2012

If you all have been watching our blog since last year, you would've seen pics of this same camp. The meetings, the brothers and sisters, the food, the activities, the fellowship was so amazing last year that we promised each other that we would try to make it again this year. You don't know the amazing love of this camp, till you are there and have experienced it. Everyone loves the Lord and every meeting He comes down to show us his power. There isn't one meeting that goes by that there isn't someone at the altar crying out to God. Like Brother Branham said, "It is an atmosphere where babies can be born." You always leave Jasper Camp knowing that all your needs have been met and you feel free and as light as a feather! :) No worries when God is in control! :) The theme of the camp this year was "the HOLY GHOST is a MUST (be  determined)
Brother Josh and Micah
We got to camp Wednesday afternoon and we had just enough time to get all our stuff put in the dorms before church started. Most people got there on Thursday or Friday. There was a couple hundred people show up and it was awesome getting to see old friends and making new ones. :)
We were all so shocked when Jessica and Chris walked in. It was a great surprise as we thought they weren't coming. The last we knew was that Jessica's passport book got lost in the mail, so she wasn't able to come across the border. Later we found out that they got plane tickets and hoped that her book would come in on time. It came in two days before they had to fly, so the Lord worked it all out perfectly! It was great seeing our sister again after a couple months of being separated! Oh, you too, Chris!! :)

We played lots of volley ball!
We had some awesome games, but we about melted in the Texas humidity! It was really hot!!!

Saturday night they had a youth banquet. Before it started they gave us all matching t-shirts and we went and stood in the field making the yf symbol.

All finished and headed back to camp.
All the young people in line for the banquet.

The banquet theme was "A Missionary" The people who decorated the hall was amazing, they really spent some time in doing it!
Chris and Jessica got to help serve at the banquet.
Such yummy food!
Brother Buitenkamp was our speaker and after he was done we sang camp songs. Following was a prayer line and we didn't get out till 1:30 in the morning. It was such a blessing. Before we went to bed we helped clean up the banquet area, so it could be used for the dining hall again that day. With many hands we soon had everything put back to rights and we got to bed a little early (2:30am), but it was worth it! :)
Our table.

We had services morning and evening of every day that we were there. There were many great speakers and lots of specials!

A brother got all the little kids together and taught them how to play the harmonica. On the way home Joshua kept playing it over and over again and he says, "I think I found my instrument." :)

Sunday there was a baptismal.
