Getting Settled In

Gophers galore! Everywhere you look it seems a gopher has made a fresh mound. The boys started trapping them as soon as we moved in.

Between them and Poppy they have been catching a lot. We got to get them all before we put the garden in this spring!

Sorting through books before putting them on the shelves. 

There's always time to stop and read Jubilee a "few" books!

Jubilee loves having her own room. She always makes it a mess, but then she is very good at cleaing it all up bofore getting into bed. She spends hours reading books! The other day she came running to Mom and said, "Will you pray for my tummy?" After Mom was done praying she asked what was a wrong with her tummy. Jubilee says, "I read too many books!" haha

She is such a little book worm! :)

We have been getting quite a bit of rain lately, so we got the cows moved up under the porch of the barn. Dad recently built a pasture for them and they are really enjoying the space.

We got the calves moved up as well.

The two dry cows are due in a few weeks. Exciting!! :)

We are still working at getting the dairy going. The guy to get it set up has come and laid it all out, there are just things that take time. It shouldn't be long now till they get started on it.

We are so enjoying our new house. It fits us just right and each day it becomes more like home.
