Another one of those projects...

...that you put off as long as you can!

The master bathroom floor was really bad off and for some time now I have been telling Mom that I would re-tile it for her. I finally told myself if I didn't get started it would never get done!

It doesn't show up real well in the pictures. It was scratched, stained and the tiles were badly out of line!

It ended up being a bigger job then I had anticipated. Joanna jumped in and helped me peel it all up.

We managed to get the toilet over into the shower and then I spent a lot of time scraping the floor getting off all the old glue and bumps that had been under the previous flooring. I was also able to paint the part of the wall behind the toilet that we couldn't reach before.

I put peel and stick tile back down, but also painted them with glue to make sure they would hold.

After a couple of days of working on it on and off, I finally got it finished.

It turned out really nice!

I picked up a new wax seal in town and Dad installed the toilet back in for me. Thanks Dad! :)
Mom and Dad were happy to have their bathroom back in working order! Glad to have that project off the list!
