Goergia Trip '15

Young Foundations was having a YF Georgia Jubilee Tour in Macon, Georgia. Uncle Sheldon and Aunt Sharon offered to drive a van load of young people back. We offered our van and they filled every seat. Out of our family Joshua, Jared and I went. We missed having Joanna with us, but she was still in Canada. We left on the evening of June the 2nd as the moon was coming up.

We tried to make it a goal to take a picture with each state sign that we passed. We did our best, but didn't get all of them.
It made a great opportunity to get out and stretch our legs. Believe me, the van was packed!! Anytime we were able to get out was a relief!

Mississippi!!!

Taking a turn at driving. We drove straight through the first night and then stopped the next night to catch up on sleep.
Yup. that's us! :) Packed in like sardines in a can. It was a tight fit, but we made it work.
Cousins..:)
I had known Amanda and Lilly from meeting up with them from here and there, but it was nice to actually spend time with them and get to really know them! :)
We finally made it!!  We had an amazing service Friday night and then Saturday we had Quiet Time, Gym and a Banquet. Most of the boys and some of the girls had never been to a YF event before, so they were very excited!!

It was awesome seeing old friends!!

Arizona girls! :)

A bunch of good looking boys right there! :)

Love this girl!!!

Everything was decorated so beautiful!!
There was around 350 attendants all in the age range of 12 to 28. It is such a great blessing to get together with other young people that all believe the same thing.

The boys got their pictures taken with Brother Joseph and really enjoyed their first YF Banquet.

Don't the boys look so handsome all dressed up? Sorry this picture is kinda fuzzy.

Sunday morning was another amazing service!! Everyone left for home and the goodbyes were so hard.
We left early Monday morning and headed down to Florida just to be able to say we were in that state. We went and spent a short time on the beach before the rain sent us running back to the van. It was so beautiful as the sun was rising!!!

We drove straight through on the way home and made it back by Tuesday morning.
