Happy New Years!!!

I am so excited! A brand new year never once touched by human kind. Each new day is like a brand new package, setting there just waiting for us to open it! God is the only one that knows what is inside of them. Sounds exciting if you ask me!! :))

We have been really busy this weekend. Friday and Saturday we spent the day with our friends and the Yeskes from Texas. We had a girl get together thing for Jessica and it was a lot of fun. We also had lots of volley ball, went shopping, etc.. We had service at our church Saturday evening, so there wasn't any service Sunday morning. Sunday we had our church group up here for a potluck and we thoroughly enjoyed lots of good fellowship, food and volley ball. This week we are trying to get back into normal life again, but what is normal life around here? Not sure at the moment if there is such a thing. I think that we have been more busy and occupied with more things this last past year then we have been in a long time. Mom says she sometimes wishes that we all would have stayed young. She says that we didn't have to go so many places, make so many plans, etc.. I can totally understand where she is coming from. We used to be so by ourselves, just doing everything as a family and now it seems we are so involved with so many different things. Jessica is getting married and that calls for showers and wedding plans. But after all we are a happy family living one day at a time and we seem to make it through some how. :) Infact I kinda enjoy this busy life!! :) Harmony in the Desert is this weekend and we have friends coming from here and there. That means another busy week of running back and forth from Tucson.

I didn't get you all told that we butchered our cow last week. She didn't gain as much as we were hoping, but we got 105 lbs of meat off of her. We have been enjoying all that good meat, along with some beef jerky that Joanna made for us.

Little Micah David is growing like a weed! I would put a picture of him on here that is absolutely adorable, but I didn't want to steal it from my sisters blog. If you want to see more pictures of Micah David go to http://theadventuresofourlove.blogspot.com. He keeps changing his looks! :))

Camps are all ready on the way. It seems like we just got back from them all, but I guess it is time to return in a  few months. Still Waters Camp sign up is in a few days and the anticipation is running high. I think that we will be attending the one in August again if the Lord permits. Jasper TX camp is another one that we always look forward to, which is in May. I am just hoping this year don't fly by as fast as last year did!

I was going to try and write a Christmas letter on here, but I thought there is really no use when you guys who have been watching our blog for the last while already know what we have been up too.

I will try to post more pictures later. I thought I would jump on here and give you a quick review of what we have been up to and let you know that I haven't deserted you all. :)

God bless you all and till next time,
The strite family
