Wedding Preparations

Ok, we tried to put Jessica's bouquet  together, but it wouldn't work. We were able to do all the bridesmaids bouquets, but Jessica's was just to hard to figure out. Sharon Jones said that she had a friend that lived  next door to her that put bouquets together for years. So we run all our stuff over to her and she put it together in 30 minutes. Jessica dried a few stems of greenery out of a bouquet Chris had given her and she was very happy when the lady was able to work them into her bouquet.
I had fun watching.. Laughing at how long it took me to try to figure it out and then watch her put it together in 30 minutes. I admit.. I do NOT have the knack for making bouquets! :)
Jessica was very happy with it!
We made lots of potato salad for the wedding and Kaitlin and Joanna shredded 60lbs of them all by hand! Katie Olson (Chris' Sister) pealed most of them and cut up the onions. We asked her why she was crying and she says, "This wedding is going to be really emotional, cause I am crying all ready!" :)
Thanks for all your hard work! You guys are awesome!

A special thanks to Dad for mixing up all the sauce for it all!!
Jenny mixed up all the lemonade for the punch.
Two days before the wedding Jenny and I made a veil for Jessica. She had got one off of internet, but it was really stiff and stuck out everywhere and she didn't like it.  Jenny and I decided to start from scratch. It wasn't an easy job, but we finally were finished and Jessica was very happy with it.

Katie helped me put all the programs together.

They turned out really cute!
Most of all we won't forget Meda and all the hard work she put into our bridesmaids dresses plus the wedding dress. She is an awesome seamstress and never ceases to amaze me. She worked long hard hours on the dress and it turned out BEAUTIFUL!

The tucks were amazing!
Sewing up the bubble hem.

I have more wedding preparation post coming, so be sure to check back in.
